The Role
We’re looking for an Azure Data Engineer to design, build and operate modern data platforms on Microsoft Azure. You’ll work on the full stack of data: ingestion, transformation, quality, delivery, and the infrastructure that makes it all reliable at scale.
Your work will directly power analytics, business intelligence, machine learning models and executive decision-making. You’ll collaborate with data scientists, BI developers, architects and business teams — and your pipelines will be trusted to work, every time.

What You’ll Do
️ • Design, build and maintain data pipelines in Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks or Fabric
️ • Implement ingestion, transformation, quality validation and data delivery processes
️ • Build and evolve lakehouse, data warehouse and analytical data architectures
️ • Create optimized data models for BI, analytics and ML consumption
️ • Ensure security, governance, data lineage, performance and cost efficiency
️ • Implement monitoring, alerts and operational best practices for production pipelines
️ • Collaborate with BI, data science, architecture and business stakeholders
What We Need From You
️Non-negotiable
️ • Experience as a Data Engineer working in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem
️ • Hands-on knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, ADLS or Microsoft Fabric
️ • Strong SQL skills, data modelling experience and distributed processing knowledge
️ • Experience with Spark, Python or PySpark
️ • Familiarity with Parquet, Delta Lake and medallion (Bronze / Silver / Gold) architectures
️ • Experience with Git, CI/CD and DataOps practices
️Strong differentiators
️ • Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate or Fabric certifications
️ • Experience building Power BI datasets, semantic models or analytical layers
️ • Knowledge of dbt, Purview, Unity Catalog or data governance tooling
️ • Experience with streaming data using Event Hubs, Kafka or Spark Structured Streaming
